Richard started his career in joinery and building during the 2008 recession, working with a local kitchen company. He remains grateful for that initial opportunity and has maintained close ties with the company ever since.
For many years, his main focus was supplying and installing kitchens. However, he has consistently refined his skills in all areas of joinery and building, as you can see throughout this site. Recently, he has broadened his services to include a variety of domestic building projects, demonstrating his adaptability in serving a wider range of clients.

Although our specialist area is supplying kitchens, we undertake joinery and building work from foundations to chimney. You can see examples of our work throughout this site. We directly undertake all related work or co-ordinate with trusted plumbers, electricians, tilers and plasterers to work on your property.

We offer all services either directly or through our trusted partners: Plumber, Electrician, Plasterer, Tiler. They will normally work around our main project so that all work is carried out in a timely manner.
Most work is carried out in North Down, Ards Peninsula, East Belfast and Dundonald. Talk to us if you have a large project outside these areas.
Some changes to the internal structure of your property and some small extensions do not need planning permission, however the best rule of thumb is check with your local planning office

Belfast City Council have a good web page that gives examples of when you need and don't need Planning Permission. It includes good graphical examples showing various extensions and other structural changes. Search this planning document for "Permitted Development". The same rules apply to all NI Council areas.
Compared to planning approval, many more building modifications require Building Control approval
