Richard started his Joinery apprenticeship in the depths of the 2008 recession. He was grateful for the start he was given by the business that he still has good relations with.

We handle all the necessary work, including foundations, wall removal, beam installation, brickwork, windows and roofing - plus internal fit-out. We will be involved in everything listed below and collaborate with our sub contractoers eg plumber, electrician, and plasterer and tiler to get these jobs done alongside our installation.
Virtually all house extensions require Building Control approval.
Some small extensions are considered as Permitted Development and do not require Planning Permission. RK Joinery and Building will help you with Building Control and Planning Permission.
For small extensions our own staff will undertake all construction from foundations to glazing and roofing including steel beam installation where a wall is removed.
For larger projects we will subcontract specialists or introduce you to our recommended specialist eg Bricklayer or Roofer
We work with local Electricians and Plumbers who will quote a competitive price and will complete their work during our extension build.
Our Electricians and Plumbers will work around our construction work schedule to ensure your extension is completed within the planned timeframe.
We will directly undertake all and small tiling work and will co-ordinate with our trusted tiler for floor tiling and for large tiled areas.
We can directly do hardwood or laminate flooring for your new extension.
Our plasterer will complete all plastering.
If the extension is for the purpose of extending or moving your kitchen location we will undertake all kitchen from design to supply and installation.
For othe extensions we can build all cabinet and storage that you require.
